Delivery of your goodies
Please note fees apply based on distance which is calculated at the time of your order and checkout.
We only deliver in Melbourne Metro. More than 21kms please select Pick up or contact us.

Deliveries
- All delivery times will be confirmed the week of your event we will contact you via text.
- Items delivered will remain in the package and the delivery company/driver is not allowed to take the items out for set up under any circumstances.
- If the delivery option applies to your order you will be advised of final price including any charges associated to your delivery. Eg Sunday delivery, City Delivery, Set Up.

Pick up Times
Please note that final dates and times confirmed for pick up after the order is made, cannot be changed or requested. There are many reasons for this and we hope that customers understand we always do our best to ensure a smooth operation from ordering to baking and decorating, packaging to pick up.
Following Covid guidelines, please do not attend the studio for picks or consultations if you are unwell, please contact us for alternative arrangements

Cakes By Laura is no longer responsible for cakes or any damages that may occur during transit once they leave the studio.
Custom Orders
Please use our contact us forms for all enquiries, quotes and finalisation of items associated with your quote or order.
Not all customised orders can be delivered. Please make your preferred option and this will be addressed once the quote is prepared.

Seasonal Terms and Conditions may also apply. Please check the policies for each product. These policies are firmly enforced and by submitting your order and making payment you agree to understand these policies will apply.
General Shipping and Delivery Policy:
Shipping/Delivery costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. Orders are dispatched within (3-5) business days. Shipping times are estimated at between before 12noon business days depending on your location.
Some items have a special delivery time and this will displayed as part of product before being added to the shopping cart.

General Refund Policy:
Please choose carefully. We DO NOT offer refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are very different to the product purchased on the website or don’t perform as advertised.
General Security Policy:
When purchasing from Cakes By Laura, card details are transmitted through a secure server using PayWay. Card data is not hosted by Cakes By Laura after processing.
Billing for Custom orders and all quotes and invoicing
- In paying the deposit the customer accepts the details and costs of the order
- Any changes to the order after a deposit is made will incur further charges.
- A deposit is required to confirm your order and non-refundable.
- In the event that you need to cancel or postpone your event, a credit note will be issued.
- Payment for custom toppers is required upon placing an order, these are not refundable.
- Payment for custom printing is required at the time of order, these are not refundable should you cancel your order.
- Cakes By Laura must be notified of any cancellations, postponed or rescheduled orders at least 14 days prior to the agreed collection date.
- In the event that you need to cancel, postpone or reschedule within 7 days of your agreed collection date, you will be required to collect your cake. Failure to do so will result in your deposit/payment being forfeited.
